Imagine2050 Staff • Mar 25, 2016

There Goes the Neighborhood is a weekly series from Imagine 2050 staff highlighting upcoming nativist events.

This week, prominent anti-immigrant activists will hold a small rally related to this year’s election in Southern California.

On Saturday, March 26, a rally being promoted by the anti-immigrant group We the People Rising will take place in Temecula, California. Glenn Turner, the event’s lead organizer, told the Press-Enterprise he expects 50 to 100 people to attend the rally.

We the People Rising played an integral role in organizing and promoting nativist demonstrations and events throughout Southern California including last week’s Unite IE conference. We the People Rising received national attention in 2014 with its members organizing, in part, a series of flagrantly irresponsible bus-blocking protests in Murrieta, California.

Additional information on this event and others can be found in the map below. The events scheduled for next week are marked with red stars.
