Far-right and anti-Muslim activists are scheduled to descend upon Crazy Horse National Park in Waynesboro, Tennessee, today for a “Defend the Constitution” rally that will take place until Sunday.

The event is gearing up to be a who’s who of some of the most prominent individuals fomenting anti-Muslim paranoia in Tennessee and beyond. Speakers include Bill Warner of the Center for Political Islam, Bobbie Patray of the Tennessee Eagle Forum, Andy Miller of the Tennessee Freedom Coalition, Rep. Joe Carr and former police officer turned anti-Muslim activist Cathy Hinners. The rally is being sponsored by the Tennessee Freedom Coalition, a group responsible for regularly organizing Islamophobic events statewide.

According to the event’s website, one of the main purposes of the rally is for “concerned citizens” to regroup and prepare to go on the offensive in the upcoming primary elections in August and November mid-terms to elect candidates who will uphold the Constitution. The website points out that “Anti-Christian, Anti-Semetic, Pro-Islamic, Socialist, and National Socialist ideologies or materials will not be allowed at the Rally.”
