It’s no surprise the Border Patrol union has embraced Trump’s hate

The Border Patrol union received significant media attention as it waded into national politics recently.

But it’s no surprise the National Border Patrol Council has embraced Trump’s hate. The union has a history of colluding with the organized anti-immigrant movement: its representatives have leaked information to nativist leaders and actively lent their support to anti-immigrant policies.

Last year, the Center for New Community published a report exposing this collusion.
