A few weeks ago we reported on disgraced former FBI agent John Guandolo’s efforts to indoctrinate Coloradans with his anti-Muslim views in the guise of a “law enforcement training.” Well, in a recent blog post,  Guandolo claimed that he was able to “train hundreds in Colorado despite efforts by Hamas” and called the training a “success.” (Depends on your definition of success, I guess.)

The training was advertised as being a resource to understanding the alleged “jihadi threat” in Colorado and was tailored to different audiences on each day ranging from local law enforcement, elected officials, and civilians. Guandolo alleges that he spoke “to large groups of citizens, elected officials, law enforcement, and others despite a strong push by Hamas.”

Prior to the event, CAIR (the Council on Islamic Relations) asked Denver-area police to investigate whether any of their officers would be attending the training. Well, earlier this week on Twitter, Guandolo himself lamented that a Denver police chief sent a detective to his training to identify any officers who may have been in attendance:

Background on Guandolo

Guandolo is well-documented anti-Muslim conspiracy theorist. He uses his consulting group, Understanding the Threat, to arrange training session across the country, where he engages in reckless fearmongering of Islam and casts Muslims as a threat to society.

One of the theories that he promotes is that Muslim advocacy groups in the United States, like CAIR and the Muslim Student Association, are Muslim Brotherhood and terrorist front groups, and are working to overthrow the U.S. government and impose Shariah law in America.

“Hamas (dba CAIR) sent emails to a large number of Police Chiefs and Sheriffs calling for them to avoid any of UTT’s training programs, and published an article calling UTT’s Founder John Guandolo an ‘Islamophobe’ which is equivalent to a public condemnation for violating the Islamic Law of Slander […] which is a capital crime in Islam,” he wrote.

He added that his former employer, the FBI, which he resigned from in disgrace, refuses to acknowledge his “facts” about CAIR’s dubious plan to implement Shariah blasphemy laws in the United States.

“Calls and emails to the FBI by UTT concerning these threats continue to be ignored,” Guandolo wrote.
