Greenfield adds ‘Muslimsplaining’ to lexicon of Islamophobia

In his latest piece at FrontPage Magazine, David Horowitz Freedom Center fellow Daniel Greenfield claimed Muslims and non-Muslims alike are explaining away terrorism. Greenfield is, again, complaining about individuals and faith leaders worldwide who are condemning the Boko Haram kidnappings and other acts of terrorism and saying the group does not represent Islam.

In his attempt to paint Muslims as a monolithic group, Greenfield argued this is “Muslimsplaining” and claimed it all comes back to Islam.

“Either the Muslimsplainers are right and real Islam, like real Communism, doesn’t exist in any Muslim country on earth, or they’re wrong and real Islam is what we’re dealing with,” he wrote, adding it isn’t “a gang of un-Islamic criminals” who are kidnapping schoolgirls or taking part in other acts of violence.

“It’s Islam,” he says.
