The Kansas Secretary of State, Kris Kobach, who is also a lawyer for the nativist law firm Immigration Reform Law Institute (IRLI) has formed a new Political Action Committee called “Prairie Fire PAC.” Kobach has been criticized by both Democrats and Republicans in Kansas for being heavily involved in partisan politics even when he is the head election official in the state.
