Kris Kobach to Speak at KU on October 13

Anti-immigrant lawyer Kris Kobach is due to speak at Kansas University on October 13th at an economic policy conference. Kobach is a lawyer for the Immigration Reform Law Institute (IRLI) the legal arm of the anti-immigrant group Federation for American Immigration Reform (FAIR) founded by white nationalist John Tanton. Kobach has helped to write and defend a plethora of anti-immigrant ordinances over the past few years including Arizona’s infamous “papers please” law, SB1070. Kobach is also the Secretary of State for the state of Kansas.
