The anti-immigrant Center for Immigration Studies (CIS) released a new report this week titled, “Welfare Use by Immigrant Households with Children: A Look at Cash, Medicaid, Housing, and Food Programs.” The report attempts to blame immigrants for welfare shortages by claiming that the majority of immigrant headed households are on some sort of welfare program.
