Janice Kephart of the anti-immigrant group Center for Immigration Studies (CIS) had an op-ed published in the USA Today on January 20. In the op-ed, Kephart argued that the Obama Administrations decision to end the “virtual border fence” program was a mistake. Kephart fails to address the cost effectiveness of the program which many experts argue was a waste of money.
