Anti-immigrant group Center for Immigration Studies (CIS) published a new report today titled, “REAL ID Implementation: Less Expensive, Doable, and Helpful in Reducing Fraud” by Janice Kephart. The report argues that states are finding that implementing the REAL ID Act of 2005 is cost effective. The Act discriminates against immigrants and has contributed to the environmental degradation of the US/Mexico border area.
