The national field director for one of the major anti-immigrant organizations in the United States criticized the State Department after they announced the first-ever Special Envoy for the Human Rights of LGBT Persons.

Susan Tully, national field director for the Federation for American Immigration Reform (FAIR), said in a Feb. 25 Facebook post that the country faces much greater threats such as the Islamic State while minimizing the terrorist group’s violent persecution of LGBT individuals.

“When was the last time you saw ISIS lining up homosexuals to cut off their heads???” Tully writes. “The United States, Department of State, under John Kerry is now a worldwide activist leader on homosexuality.”

Tully also claimed members of the Obama the administration “are all Communist/Marxists” and Saul Alinsky supporters: “Remember Sal [sic] Alinsky’s Rules for Radicals….turn everything upside down, inside out, and backwards. This was also a regular quote from many within the Obama Administration including Vern Jones. They are all Communist/Marxists and followers of Saul Alinsky the community organizer from Chicago.”

In January, Tully similarly criticized President Obama by questioning his allegiance to the United States — and insinuating that he intends to do “everything to hurt us” — during a radio interview with an anti-immigrant activist.
