FAIR Honors President of Anti-Immigrant Organization it Helped Found

The Federation for American Immigration Reform (FAIR) has honored Ron Woodard, President of NC Listen, with its ‘”We The People’ Leadership Award.” Woodard was presented with the award at a banquet during FAIR’s annual radio and lobbying event, Hold Their Feet to the Fire, on April 17. In an April 29 e-mail, Woodard told supporters he “was humbled and yet proud to receive it.” He continued to congratulate himself by writing, “I also consider it almost a perseverance award for my over 20 years of effort on real immigration reform.  I love my Country, the USA.” FAIR lists NC Listen as a state contact group on its website; and according to Woodard, FAIR frequently assisted in NC Listen “getting off the ground.”
