On Sunday, Breitbart News announced TruthRevolt.org, a new program of the David Horowitz Freedom Center (DHFC).
According to Breitbart News Editor-At-Large Ben Shapiro, the program will focus on progressive opinions in the media and aim to stop “allowing the left to stifle the truth and silence truth tellers in the name of their politically correct narrative.” Shapiro, who also contributes to DHFC’s FrontPage Magazine as a Shillman Journalism Fellow, will oversee the launch of Truth Revolt next month.
Recently, Shapiro has attempted to link then-Secretary of Defense nominee Chuck Hagel to a fictional group named “Friends of Hamas;” and warned that some churches would lose tax-exempt status after the Supreme Court’s overturning of the Defense of Marriage Act.
Given his personal experience in stifling the truth and engaging conspiracy, Shapiro seems perfect for the job of purposefully distorting – or outright ignoring – facts in the name of DHFC’s bigoted agenda.
