Court Rejects Pamela Geller & Robert Spencer’s Appeal on UK Ban

Last week, a UK court rejected an appeal filed by Pamela Geller and Robert Spencer protesting the UK Home Office’s ban on the two anti-Muslim activists.

The court announced the British government would uphold their decision from last June to disallow Geller and Spencer entry into the country after deeming their visit “not conducive to the public good.” Geller broke the news on her blog where she linked to an article written by the two’s UK legal representative, Abhijit Pandya, detailing the court’s decision and what he considered to be “The end of free speech in Britain.”

Pandya fittingly has his own history of Islamophobic remarks and association with far-right populist groups. The decision to uphold the ban appropriately came after Geller recently went on a tirade about the alleged threat Muslim immigration poses to the UK. Geller continues to be relentless in her efforts to halt Muslim immigration into Western countries such as the UK, however, she remains banned from the very same country because it is feared she will incite hatred and violence.
