Guy Rodgers, executive director of the anti-Muslim group ACT! for America, will be the featured speaker at the September 3 meeting of New Jersey’s Greenwich Tea Party Patriots. Rodgers’ presentation will likely bear a similarity to past events held by ACT! and other anti-Muslim activists by highlighting and perpetuating conspiracies of government infiltration by Muslim Brotherhood operatives and the greater supposed threat Muslims pose to society. However, given ACT!’s recent efforts to mobilize opposition to immigration reform and the organization’s affiliations with NumbersUSA, it is quite clear that ACT! leadership is broadening the focus of the group’s agenda in order to network with other nativists, and perhaps to target immigrants as a whole.
