SPOTLIGHT CONTRIBUTOR SPEAKS AT SCHAUMBURG PUBLIC LIBRARY: On May 21, 2000 Spotlight contributing writer Michael Collins Piper spoke to a crowd of over 100 at the Schaumburg Public Library in Schaumburg, Illinois. Piper spoke about the library’s decision not to shelve, and then to shelve, his book Final Judgement: The Missing Link in the JFK Assassination, which alleges that the Israeli intelligence agency the Mossad played a key role in JFK’s death. Hoffman Estates resident Christopher Bollyn gave the book to the library as a gift, but it was returned to him. Bollyn demanded an appeal, and a panel of three librarians reviewed the book. The book was then accepted into the library’s collection. Bollyn has also offered to purchase a subscription to The Spotlight for the library, but they have refused.
